ABSTRACT
Horizontal Ridge Deficiency In The Anterior Maxilla Represents One Of The Challenging Situation In Bone Regeneration. Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR) Has Become A Major Treatment Option For Such Deficiency To Provide Optimal Bone Quantity For Installation Of Endosseous Dental Implants.
However, There Is A Good Prognosis For This Treatment, As The Residual Ridge Height Can Be Used To Stabilize A Bone Graft, Making It Less Subjectable To Move Which Is One Of The Factors That May Lead To Graft Failure.
Numerous Technique In Guided Bone Regeneration Have Been Introduced Using A Varies Types, Combinations Of Grafting Materials And Different Types Of Barrier Membranes Either Rigid, Non-rigid Or Resorbable, Non-resorbable Materials.
